It’s lovely to see an early, pre-pub mention of The Bear in Library Journal.
A group of librarians awarded my first novel, The Line Painter, the Northern Lit award. I was invited to their gala dinner and spent a night eating, drinking laughing and, yes, belly dancing.
I will always appreciate the support they gave me. It was fortifying during the seven hard years of writing that followed.
Librarians make the world go around, but I trust ya’ll already knew that.
