I found this book riveting, and felt so much compassion for the characters, especially the male, the fact that it took place in Ontario was also very interesting and I referred to the map to place the scene . The characters are still haunting me and I've told the plot to two people since I read it yesterday It would make a wonderful film but only with actors who are unfamiliar as it needs this to make the story real. It's wonderful and as a first novel absolutely remarkable and stunning.I will always look for more books by this author .
